ACTIVIST DEMANDS F.B.I. RELEASE BUSH’S FILE;
F.O.I.A. REQUEST PENDING SINCE JULY
Washington, DC – Gay activist Michael Petrelis will hold a press conference at the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s headquarters to demand the agency release all of its files on President George W. Bush.

A Freedom of Information Act request for the Bush file was made on July 6 to the FBI by Petrelis, who invoked the expedited processing clause of the act, given the urgency of the November election. The FBI has thus far not released a single page from Bush’s file.
More than 9,000 pages of the FBI’s files on Democratic challenger Sen. John Kerry and the Vietnam Veterans Against the War group have been made available to the public and media, which has extensively scrutinized Kerry’s dossier.
At the press conference, copies of the activist’s correspondence with the FBI will be distributed.

Michael: How do you know that the information request for FBI files is complete when received from the FBI? Do they leave a lot of information "blacked out"? Would this censored information ever be made public? It could be and should be! Take the situation of two sides to a story, what if this information censored is actually protecting criminals? Sometimes phoney charges are laid on a person and it would be nice to know the "characters" involved in such "character" assassination. Especially if these names are blacked out. It is unfair not to know and also, potentially dangerous to the new and real victim. Some characters know the ins and outs of the justice system to the point of manipulation. They get witnesses to lie on the stand and courts believe the liars. Where is the investigations when someone is found guilty through lying witnesses? This has happened in my personal experience. Quite a story I will tell later perhaps. How do citizens protect themselves from this sort of thing? Sometimes there isn't any way to read the docettes as they are so censored. The fbi may be feeling that they are challenging democracy and so are standing back from illegal search seizures and spying on citizens. This may be necessary because once the flags are down there is no point to continue harrassing innocent victims when the real criminals are busy planning the next attack. Mboy: One more thing, the JFK file will not be released til 2038 or 2018, I can't remember which (it is from the JFK movie director Oliver Stone). We will (or most of us) either dead or too old to care. There has got to some real dirty deeds when this happens. But I already figured it out. I know it was Colonel Mustard in the Dining Room with the rope! :)Jane Jones
